Autumn is in full swing, and as the leaves begin to change color, it’s a fabulous time to explore what Piqua has to offer. Locals adore the harvest season here in Ohio—there’s so much to do, and it really brings out the small town charm. If you’re looking for some exciting weekend activities, I’ve got plenty of recommendations. Get ready to “fall” in love with Piqua!

Fall Farm Fest

Amidst the stunning foliage and towering trees, Piqua’s Lost Creek Reserve Park comes alive with autumn spirit. Join the community in celebrating the area’s rural heritage at the annual Fall Farm Fest—there’s plenty of fun for everyone!

On October 12th from 12 – 7 PM and 13th from 12 – 5 PM, the historic Koop Homestead will be open for visitors of all ages. Wondering what there is to enjoy? Be sure to check out the 6-acre corn maze, a pumpkin patch, live music, hayrides, and more—it’s truly one of the best Piqua fall festivals.

Harvest Days

If you’ve visited Downtown Piqua, you’ve probably fallen in love with the unforgettable small town charm. On October 19th, Main Street will be on full display for the town’s largest fall extravaganza. From 10 AM – 6 PM, come explore the Harvest Days festival—it’s an exciting way to get to know your neighbors!

Wondering what you’ll find at this quaint celebration? Get ready for some fun—local vendors will be providing tons of delicious eats, including sugar waffles and yummy St. Paul’s chicken. Other activities include a pet costume parade, a book giveaway, and pumpkin decorating.

Tipp City Harvest Fest

A short drive south of Piqua is Tipp City, a small community with tons of character. Each year, the Tipp City Harvest Fest celebrates the spooky season in the best way possible. This time, it’s going to be bigger and better than ever!

This festival is for adults only, but don’t worry—dressing up is still encouraged! Come out on October 19th to celebrate Halloween a little early. There will be drinks, food, and tons of live performances. Be sure to get your costumes ready for the contest, too!

Downtown Piqua Horse Parade

As fall draws to a close, there’s one festival that Piqua natives always look forward to. Imagine watching horse-drawn carriages ride down Main Street, fully decked out in twinkling lights. If you’re ready to be transported back into the past, you can’t miss the Downtown Piqua Horse Parade.

You won’t want to miss this event, which comes to town on November 16th. It’s the best way to wave goodbye to fall and usher in the winter season. While you’re there, you can also get a head start on your holiday shopping by exploring Downtown Piqua’s amazing businesses.
